About The Position

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is hiring a Senior Helicopter Maintenance Support Technician to provide advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and return-to-service support for BK117 C2/D3 and EC135 aircraft. The technician works independently at customer locations throughout the United States, with the assigned location varying according to contract needs. The typical arrangement is four weeks at a customer site followed by two weeks working from home, although maintenance schedules may change this arrangement. Shifts are generally 4x10, except in California, where they are 5x8. The role requires approximately 65% domestic and international travel and does not report to an Airbus location. The position combines hands-on aircraft maintenance and airworthiness work with lead technician duties, customer support, and maintenance documentation and compliance. Candidates must have a current FAA A&P license, qualifying rotary-wing and relevant aircraft maintenance experience, and at least two years of leadership experience or equivalent leadership education. The role also requires familiarity with specified FAA regulations, strong BK117 C2 troubleshooting expertise, effective English communication, the ability to obtain a DoD CAC, and eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR. The stated pay range is $34–$57 per hour, subject to geographic differential and individual qualifications. The role is a direct-hire professional position with flexible remote designation; work is performed at customer sites or remotely as assigned.
