$106,320 - $156,300Remote

About The Position

This position is needed to own the technical and operational infrastructure that powers our global events portfolio. You will create the operating model for how event technology, registration, data, reporting, and digital attendee experiences work across Twilio events. This role blends strategy with hands-on execution to build frameworks, templates, and support models that allow cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality event experiences at scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in event technology, registration operations, or marketing operations within a B2B SaaS environment, or high-growth environment.
  • Strong Salesforce and event data expertise, including campaign tracking, attendee data, field mapping, reporting requirements, data QA, post-event data transmission, and downstream reporting workflows.
  • Strong hands-on experience with event technology platforms such as Swoogo, Cvent, RainFocus, BigMarker, Qualtrics, Bizzabo, Splash, ON24, Webex Events, or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting large-scale events (2,000+ attendees) and managing mobile event apps or onsite hardware.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including data cleanup, reconciliation, formulas, pivot tables, lookups, QA, and reporting-ready data preparation.
  • Proven ability to build scalable templates, operating playbooks, intake models, documentation, QA processes, launch readiness frameworks, and post-event closeout processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI or automation tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, accelerate documentation, support analysis, strengthen QA, and scale repeatable processes.
  • Strong project management skills across workback planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder reviews, launch readiness, issue resolution, vendor coordination, post-event wrap-up, and archival.
  • High bar for brand consistency, attendee experience, accessibility, data quality, privacy, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to identify gaps, clarify ambiguity, drive decisions, and move work forward across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to think like both a systems owner and an event marketer, balancing operational requirements with audience experience, brand quality, and business impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Track record of building self-service technology operating models, platform roadmaps, center-of-excellence programs, or scalable enablement models for distributed teams.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Web, Brand, Marketing Operations, Legal, Data, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Working knowledge of global event requirements, including privacy, accessibility, localization, compliance, and regional event support needs.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Airtable, Figma, Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, or similar marketing, reporting, web, and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own the event technology strategy, standards, and governance model across Twilio Global Events, serving as the center of excellence for event platforms, registration operations, attendee data, mobile app experiences, surveys, and onsite technology.
  • Own the strategy, configuration, QA, and launch process for event mobile app experiences, surveys, attendee engagement tools, lead retrieval, badging, onsite registration hardware, and onsite technology readiness.
  • Own event data flows from registration through Salesforce and Tableau, including field mapping, naming conventions, data QA, campaign tracking, reporting requirements, issue resolution, and post-event closeout.
  • Design registration strategies, including registration flows, form logic, attendee types, approval workflows, data standards, compliance requirements, onsite check-in needs, QA processes, and launch readiness reviews.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations, Data, Web, Brand, Legal, Product Marketing, Sales, Field Marketing, Developer Network, and event stakeholders to ensure event technology supports audience goals, business priorities, privacy requirements, and downstream reporting.
  • Build scalable self-service templates, intake processes, runbooks, QA checklists, launch timelines, reporting frameworks, and support paths that allow distributed teams to execute smaller or repeatable events with greater consistency and less manual lift.
  • Manage event technology vendor relationships, platform roadmaps, support models, service expectations, renewals, and technology-related budget inputs.
  • Guide the planning, requirements, testing, and launch process for event websites and landing pages, including wireframes, copy documents, ticket requirements, metadata, accessibility considerations, registration paths, and user experience reviews.
  • Identify gaps in process, ownership, tooling, data quality, or execution, and create clear paths to resolution through documentation, stakeholder alignment, and operational follow-through.
  • Use AI and automation tools to improve event operations, including process documentation, data cleanup, workflow design, content QA, testing plans, benchmarking, reporting preparation, and repeatable templates.
