About The Position

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. This role involves managing baseline wastewater requirements, including regulatory, customer, investor, and reporting needs. It requires continuous sensing through permit reviews, regular meetings with sites, external engagements, and regulation tracking tools. The position will collaborate with site EHS teams to review permits, respond to regulatory comments, and engage with external stakeholders. It will also facilitate technical workshops and best practice sharing forums to promote global alignment and continuous improvement, and engage with external consortia to help shape industry standards and frameworks. The role will propose measurable goals and performance indicators for site teams to ensure adherence to global environmental programs, and identify, build, and optimize wastewater programs, sub-programs, and projects that are scalable across geographies and adaptable to site-specific needs. Recommendations for new or revised policies, procedures, and methodologies to support environmental goals will be made. The role supports permitting activities for site expansion, new construction, and technology transfers. It involves establishing long- and short-range objectives for the global wastewater program, specifying strategies and actions to achieve them in alignment with regulatory trends, business priorities, and sustainability goals. Leading and coordinating the successful delivery of interdependent, complex technology projects related to wastewater at the global level, including program planning, strategy, governance, coordination, and integration is key. Continuous evaluation of program effectiveness and revision of strategy based on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and operational feedback is required. The role provides tactical troubleshooting and technical support to site teams to help them meet program goals and maintain compliance, and provides leadership updates and strategic briefings on wastewater program status, risks, and opportunities. Technical studies on topics such as pollutants, treatment options, and technology readiness will be conducted, and water quality modeling will be performed as needed. Identifying and characterizing specific causes or sources of a pollutant/water parameter is also part of the responsibilities.
