About The Position

Provides gathering and processing commercial support for Marketing Department and Lower 48 Upstream Asset Teams. This role involves coordinating with Asset Team Operations and Engineering, working with third-party midstream providers to ensure contract obligations are met, tracking maintenance notices, and monitoring gathering and processing project timing and risks. The analyst will also manage wellhead interconnect contracting and existing gathering and processing contracts, including new connection requests, new well tie-ins, side letter agreements, and P&A notifications. Additionally, the position assists with contract renewals and new contract negotiation, analyzes and interprets contracts, and collaborates with team members to improve internal process efficiencies. The role requires adherence to established work schedules, attendance standards, and company values, vision, and mission.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years minimum oil and gas upstream or midstream related experience
  • Ability to accurately solve problems and interpret contracts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision
  • Proficiency in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Asset Team Operations and Engineering to successfully manage daily issues that arise
  • Work with third party midstream providers to ensure contract obligations and standards are being met
  • Track third party maintenance notices
  • Monitor and communicate gathering and processing project timing and risks
