Requirements

8+ years professional development experience as a Full Stack Engineer building complex, large-scale platforms.
Deep hands-on expertise in JavaScript, Node.js (Hapi.js/Express.js), and React (including micro-frontend architecture).
Proven experience designing and maintaining microservices-based architectures and robust SQL database solutions.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems across diverse software architectures.
Experience building real-time event processing platforms and optimizing for system scalability, API performance, and latency reduction.
Strong understanding of backend architecture and system tradeoffs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Engineers with C#, .NET, or Python backgrounds are welcome if eager to transition into a JavaScript/Node.js-centric stack.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop new features for a robust, event-driven IoT platform supporting real-time telemetry from distributed assets (bulldozers, heavy machinery, etc.).
Write high-quality, efficient, scalable, and reusable code using Node.js (Hapi.js/Express.js) on the backend and React with micro-frontend architecture on the frontend.
Tackle system scalability, performance optimization, API design, and latency issues within a large-scale, distributed environment.
Own the reliability of your code by writing comprehensive unit tests and supporting rigorous QA processes.
Mentor and coach fellow engineers, providing technical leadership and contributing to architectural decisions.
Collaborate with product managers and senior leadership to define, scope, and plan innovative new features and long-term product direction.
Work cross-functionally with agile teams to deliver user-centric solutions and improve development processes.
Document solutions thoroughly for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
