About The Position

This role involves leveraging AI tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate the design, implementation, and documentation of applications and integrations supporting various banking capabilities such as client onboarding, payments, fraud detection, and servicing. The developer will design and build responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks, architect and maintain server-side logic, integrations, and microservices using C# and/or Python. The position also includes managing the complete software process from concept to CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with the Cloud Infrastructure team for deployment and monitoring, and optimizing software for speed, scalability, and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience using AI tools like Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to support the full development lifecycle, including design exploration, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Demonstrated application of thoughtful prompt engineering and structured interaction patterns to produce reliable, maintainable code.
• Strong command of C#/.NET and Python for backend services, integrations, automation workflows and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of secure web & mobile UI applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React).
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, BLOB storage, caching mechanisms, and pub-sub event driven architectures.
• Experience with the Azure cloud platform (preferred) or AWS.
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes required.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git or GitHub.
• Experience in the Financial Services domain is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Demonstrable usage of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.
• Proven experience working with frontend web-based UIs, microservices architectures, API design principles (RESTful services), containerization, and orchestration technologies.
• A "doer" mindset--the ability to move on clarity rather than waiting for absolute certainty.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial banking, consumer banking, lending, and/or payments experience is preferred.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• A minimum of 3 years working in a banking, payments or financial services vertical.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI (such as Cursor and Claude) to accelerate the design, implementation, and documentation of applications and integrations supporting capabilities across the bank (e.g., client onboarding, payments, fraud detection, servicing, etc.).
• Design and build responsive, interactive user interfaces using modern frameworks like React or Angular, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
• Architect, develop and maintain robust server-side logic, integrations and microservices/APIs using C# and/or Python.
• Manage the complete software process from initial concept and prototyping, application design, development, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with the Cloud Infrastructure team to ensure application deployment per environment, monitoring and FinOps awareness.
• Providing appropriate documentation for design reviews as well as handoffs to TechOps team for deployment and production monitoring.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software while optimizing for speed, scalability, and security.
