POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Sales, is a strategic finance role embedded at the center of AE’s decision-making engine. This position partners directly with senior leaders across Global Sales organization to help drive execution against its long ‑ term strategic objectives. We are seeking an SFA who is not just technically strong, but intellectually curious and fluent in influencing stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a future ‑ oriented mindset, the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insight, and a passion for building scalable processes.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical foundation with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complexity for executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and effectiveness in globally diverse teams.
  • Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills plus strong Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook capability.
  • Demonstrated leadership, business curiosity, and problem ‑ solving strength.
  • Has a bias for action, takes ownership and delivers results.
  • 5 plus years of progressive financial analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a large ERP ecosystem (SAP, SAC, Oracle, Blackline, Power BI).
  • Background supporting financial operations in multinational environments.
  • Experience supporting commercial, operational, and corporate functional teams.
  • MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA).

Responsibilities

  • Lead key components of quarterly, annual, and long ‑ range revenue planning and forecasting—providing scenario modeling, data-driven recommendations, and analysis of market trends.
  • Build and enhance financial planning tools, models, and processes to support evolving business unit, market vertical and functional investment strategies. Including AI initiatives and automation.
  • Deliver highly insightful financial analysis and reporting that influences senior leadership on decision making as a fiduciary of the organization. Being able to tell the story behind the financials and deliver recommended path(s) forward.
  • Ownership of Global Sales and Marketing OPEX including planning, forecasting and variance analysis. Identify efficiencies in the budget and how to drive leverage.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure complete, accurate, and timely accruals, actuals, SEC reporting and color.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the S&OP workstream to identify and help mitigate business risk. Understand what’s happening at the detailed level of the business and be a voice for the Finance Organization.
  • Build strong, trust ‑ based relationships across Finance, Business Units, and Corporate Functions. Be a cross functional parter with a “we” attitude.
  • Execute special analytical projects that illuminate business issues and shape high ‑ impact decisions.
