About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the organizations by providing timely, accurate and insightful business expense performance analyses to management. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, future requirements and operating forecasts. Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control while performing technical analyses to determine present and future financial performance. This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and has access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job. Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire. Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, related degree, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting experience
  • Excel skills experience is a necessity (pivot tables, VBA macros and Lookup functions)
  • Strong financial systems and business application skills including database applications (Qlikview)
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, identify, and communicate financial expense performance to business partners
  • Review and approve expense requisitions; highlighting items which are outside of budget parameters
  • Develop departmental financial and project expense benchmarks and reporting
  • Create ad-hoc analyses and business forecasts
  • Support accounting close process and audit reporting
  • Design and implement scalable processes and procedures to report key business metrics
  • Identify and drive implementation of cost reduction and process improvement projects
  • Work with all functional groups to meet financial and corporate goals
