Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in accounting role (preferably in a Manufacturing environment)
  • Superior skills in the use of Microsoft applications (Specifically Excel)
  • Self-starter, with proven time-management skills
  • Problem analysis and assessment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, team building and organization skills
  • Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practice and procedures
  • Fostering an environment of positive teamwork and collaboration

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting Designation or enrolled in CPA program
  • SAP experience
  • Costing and inventory management (standard costing) experience

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of national finance team to ensure consistent practices, manage period end process, track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
  • Creating successful business partnerships between finance and plant management team(s) to coordinate necessary communications for the accurate processing of data and financial results, including providing plant cost analysis to support good business decisions
  • Protects assets and guides decision-making by reviewing, establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls and corporate policies.
  • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, reporting plant(s) financial data and creating special reports summarizing information and trends.
  • Works with operations and admin team to validate information used for costing
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and participate in various projects assigned.
  • Travel to multiple locations throughout the year is a requirement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
