Requirements

  • Financial modeling and analytical reasoning
  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks (Stark, Anti-Kickback, FMV principles)
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts for clinical audiences
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting required.
  • 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service orientation when working with physicians and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly physician compensation model administration, including calculations, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Assist with the annual budget process related to physician compensation, providing modeling and forecasting support.
  • Perform fair market value (FMV) reviews and prepare survey reporting to support compliance with Stark Law and Anti-Kickback regulations.
  • Administer quality and performance incentive programs, including data collection, calculation, and physician reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate proposed compensation arrangements, productivity scenarios, and contract changes.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and presentations for physicians, department leaders, and executive leadership.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure compensation accruals and payments are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects related to physician compensation, contracting, and practice finance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive compensation and physician data at all times.
