About The Position

Comcast Capital California is looking for a strategic Senior Financial Analyst to become a champion of our capital planning, analysis, and operations. This is your chance to make a real impact, managing capital projects supporting fiber construction builds from end-to-end. You'll approve budgets, create forecasts, and collaborate across all levels to ensure operational excellence. We're seeking someone who can see the bigger picture, providing insightful guidance, challenging assumptions, and fostering strong relationships. This role offers strong visibility to regional leadership and the opportunity to influence capital strategy across a growing California portfolio. This is a hybrid onsite role (4 days in office, 1 day remote) located in Livermore, CA, with occasional travel required.

  • Experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Oracle Hyperion, PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 Years Relevant Work Experience

Responsibilities

  • Own capital budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for fiber construction projects across the California portfolio
  • Partner with Construction, Engineering, and Business Development teams to evaluate project financials and track spend against plan
  • Conduct financial research, analyze financial performance against objectives, and determine emerging financial trends
  • Provide clear, actionable insights on risks, opportunities, and performance to leadership
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including scenario analysis and long-range capital planning
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and visibility
  • Support business case development and capital investment
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in addressing complex, high-impact business decisions
  • Support additional business operations initiatives and ad hoc analyses as needed
