About The Position

As a Sr Finance Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead key elements of financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to drive business performance and decision-making. You will partner closely with business leaders to deliver fact-based insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic initiatives. This role includes dedicated responsibility for R&D planning and business partnering with Engineering leadership (including VP of Engineering-level stakeholders) to align investment priorities, forecasting, and financial performance with technical roadmaps. Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly and quarterly financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, including identification of key drivers and resolution of performance gaps
  • Own recurring financial reporting deliverables, including revenue reporting and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain financial models, datasets, and management reporting to support leadership decision-making
  • Partner with Finance and Controllership to analyze and resolve accounting issues, including accruals and mis postings
  • Support forecast updates and planning cycles, including cost structure and investment adjustments
  • Coordinate financial system activities and data loads, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data processing
  • Drive a data-driven culture, leveraging standardized tools and analytics to improve insight, quality and speed
  • Support transformation and productivity initiatives, including cost optimization and process improvements
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives, including preparation of materials and insights for stakeholder alignment
  • Lead R&D financial planning, aligning investments with engineering priorities and business objectives
  • Act as a business partner to Engineering leadership (VP level), translating financial insights into actionable recommendations
