Sr. Finance Manager, AWS Regions Finance
About The Position
AWS Finance is responsible for end-to-end financial ownership of a multi-billion dollar investment portfolio. This role drives INTL expansion decisions and existing business performance. You will be leading a team to deliver audacious goals, thinking strategically and managing through complexity while supporting on-the-ground business decisions. As a leader in AWS, you will be expected to set the pace to ensure the team delivers actionable insights in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will range from long-term planning to near-term results assessment, from supporting net new growth opportunities to identifying and improving scaled business mechanisms. In this role you will be partnering with AWS Directors and Vice Presidents to solve complex business challenges and you will need to be comfortable communicating your point of view - live in meetings and through writing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

- Experience working with senior staff (e.g., c-suite)
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Expertise in building scalable mechanisms and continuous improvement
