About The Position
As a Sr Field Service Technician -Traveling Mechanic - Millwright at Honeywell, this role is critical for the rebuild of Honeywell's line sorters. The technician will collaborate with a team guide, focusing on the removal, replacement, and cleaning of hardware across various Honeywell line sorter models. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, staging, and moving hardware within distribution centers to support the rebuild process, and ensuring a professional installation appearance through cleanup. The position primarily involves working weekends under tight deadlines, with success defined by completing rebuilds within customer-specified downtime windows. The role reports to a team guide and allows the technician to reside anywhere in the lower 48 states, with typical time off occurring mid-week.
