About The Position

Finix is seeking a Senior Field & Community Manager to foster engagement, brand loyalty, and trust among customers, partners, and advocates, both online and in person. This role involves managing social media and community channels, and bringing the community to life through various events such as executive dinners, meetups, conferences, and field marketing activations. The position requires a blend of consistent online community engagement and high-touch, in-person relationship building, necessitating comfort with both content calendars and guest list management. The role reports to the Head of Marketing and collaborates with Sales, leadership, Creative & Design, and Organic teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in community management, field marketing, or event marketing, ideally in B2B
  • Proven experience planning and executing in-person events end-to-end, from intimate executive dinners to larger activations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with high emotional intelligence
  • Proficiency with social media management platforms, analytics dashboards, and basic design or video tools
  • Comfort managing budgets, vendors, and multiple concurrent events without dropping details

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or at a hyper-growth B2B SaaS company
  • An existing network within the payments or fintech industry
  • Experience building a customer advocacy or referral program from scratch
  • Comfort presenting to and coordinating with senior executives and sales leadership

Responsibilities

  • Create, curate, and manage content that's relevant, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice across social and community channels
  • Plan and execute in-person and virtual events (executive dinners, meetups, conferences, and field marketing activations) owning logistics end-to-end: venue, guest lists, vendors, budget, and on-site execution
  • Curate guest lists and manage invitations for executive dinners and VIP customer events, working closely with Sales and leadership
  • Represent Finix at events to build relationships and visibility
  • Respond to comments, direct messages, and community queries in a timely, professional way, and foster a positive, inclusive community
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, power users, and advocates who can fuel referrals, testimonials, and word-of-mouth growth
  • Develop and enforce community guidelines, and monitor conversations to manage PR-sensitive situations
  • Measure event ROI and attendee feedback, and track community engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Gather customer feedback and community insights and report trends to Product and Marketing
