About The Position

A Sr. Fabrication Producer is the backbone of the fabrication workstream, owning the full lifecycle of physical production from early concept through final install. They are the connective tissue between creative vision and physical reality, translating design intent into buildable, budgetable scopes while keeping vendors, timelines, and quality on track. At this level, you are expected to drive the fabrication process independently, anticipating challenges before they surface and proactively aligning all stakeholders around solutions. You bring both the technical fluency to evaluate fabrication methods and the production rigor to manage complex, multi-vendor builds to the highest standard. You are a proactive problem solver and positive collaborator who always strives to partner with all stakeholders to ensure the best outcome possible outlining potential challenges without hindering the design process, and partnering alongside creatives as a resource and support.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in event production with hands-on experience managing fabrication for events.
Working knowledge of SketchUp and/or other 3D modeling software
Proficient in Google Suite
Confidence proposing next steps and leading a team from strategic thought through execution.
Deep understanding of the experiential fabrication and the ability to anticipate and forecast potential project challenges in advance.
Understanding of the creative and design process for large-scale events as it relates to fabrication and production.
Proactive problem solver with a willingness to go above and beyond—modeling positivity and calm for junior producers during difficult production challenges.

Responsibilities

Work directly with clients and production teams on a daily basis, supporting new projects based on client and internal briefs.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality control, supporting in either a lead or oversight role as project needs arise.
On large-scale builds, lead a small team of junior fabrication producers to manage scope and ensure quality control.
Build budgets from initial concept and design rounds, making informed assumptions to push the process forward; independently develop and wrap budgets starting from $1,000,000 and above.
Research new vendors and re-engage existing fabrication partners for quotes, triple-bidding when client procurement or project requirements dictate.
Support building internal documents by collaborating with production teams to share key fabrication milestones and ensure all team leads have visibility into vendor updates on budget, engineering, timelines, and QC progress.
Work between project leads, producers, and when necessary client and creative teams to provide fabrication context to decisions including updating documentation, sending recap emails, and creating meeting agendas, fostering a team environment where all contributions have a place.
Collaborate with production and creative/design teams to value-engineer solutions wherever possible.
Track smaller project details so Executive Producers can stay focused on the bigger picture; manage expenses, budget allocations, vendor scope, and vendor payment terms.
Handle daily production tasks including client and internal communication, purchasing, scheduling, staffing, deck management, ops support, budget operations, and vendor management.
Confidently propose next steps, lead team discussions, and provide solution-oriented options; manage day-to-day client relationships with comfort and professionalism.
Provide onsite fabrication oversight managing crews, tracking labor requests and onsite budget impacts, and visiting shops to QC all fabrication output to the highest standards.

Domestic and international travel will be required (40 -50%)
