About The Position

FX is seeking a Sr. Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. The role will involve heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced atmosphere.

Requirements

2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio, or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
High level of confidentiality, judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive information and materials
Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to multitask and handle a fast-paced and high-volume atmosphere
Must be resourceful, positive and collaborative
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work overtime

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting an SVP or above
Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media

Responsibilities

Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements, and various other administrative tasks to support the President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment
Track all incoming written material for the department and written and visual material for supervisor plus maintain an accurate and detailed account of all submissions
Keep up to date records and knowledge of current series and development projects supervisor is involved with
Evaluate material and think analytically about it
Support the department and other executives as needed, which includes scheduling studio meetings, updating the department records for the shows currently in development or production
Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on our series
