About The Position

This position is responsible for administering and managing Zetec’s IFS ERP system, ensuring it meets security and compliance requirements. The role involves documenting system changes, creating various types of reports, and developing solutions for business problems within the financial and manufacturing applications. The administrator will also be responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying IFS patches and upgrades, automating and optimizing business solutions, and serving as a liaison between business partners and IT to gather requirements. Additionally, the role requires writing ad hoc queries, working with auditors, providing month-end close support for Finance, educating users on system functionality, troubleshooting production issues, leading change management projects, and managing project timelines for future functionality. The position also involves assisting with other IT-related functions, providing backup support for other IT staff, and mentoring team members, all while adhering to company safety policies and Quality Assurance requirements. Extended hours may be required to fulfill the position's requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to write and read SQL-Plus queries
  • PL/SQL scripting
  • Oracle and/or SQL SERVER Relational Databases
  • Knowledge of business and manufacturing processes
  • Previous experience with IFSApp9 and up software
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word etc.)
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience in structured programming
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years previous experience with IFS ERP Software
  • 2+ years of PL/SQL scripting
  • Experience with application development tools (Crystal, Visual Studio, SQL SMS, SSRS, TOAD, etc.)
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

  • PowerBI experience a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing environment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain ERP system accounts and permissions.
  • Create functional and technical specifications for customizations and reports.
  • Design, develop, and technical test Crystal, IFS Quick, and Visual Studio reports.
  • Develop solutions for business problems within the financial and manufacturing application.
  • Configure, test and deploy IFS patches and upgrades.
  • Automate and optimize business solutions.
  • Serve as liaison between business partners and IT to develop and gather business requirements.
  • Write ad hoc queries.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors, including writing queries, gathering requested data, and assisting with remediation.
  • Provide month-end close support for the Finance Department.
  • Educate users on system functionality and promote a better understanding of the application suite.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production problems in a timely manner.
  • Lead Change Management projects and initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines and tasks for future functionality.
  • Assist on IT-related functions as needed.
  • Provide backup and vacation support for other IT staff on an as-needed basis.
  • Participate in mentoring fellow team members.
  • Follow all company safety policies and Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
  • Perform other duties as required in support of the department and the company.
