About The Position

Parker Trutec is seeking an IT professional to take ownership of a business-critical ERP system, with a primary long-term focus on Epicor/CMS administration. This role also involves supporting the company's IT systems and infrastructure, offering broad technical exposure and significant project responsibility. The position is not strictly senior-level network engineering nor entry-level help desk, but requires a practical IT foundation with hands-on administrative experience in servers, networks, Microsoft environments, or comparable business systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a willingness to learn and take ownership, and a desire to grow into the lead administrator role.

Requirements

Professional IT experience that has progressed beyond basic help desk support.
Hands-on experience administering or supporting servers, networks, Microsoft infrastructure, or other business IT systems.
Working knowledge of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, wireless networking, and preferably VLANs.
Strong troubleshooting instincts and the willingness to dig into unfamiliar problems, research answers, test solutions, and ask for help appropriately.
A genuine interest in ERP/business systems and the desire to make Epicor/CMS administration a primary part of your career.
Ability to communicate professionally with production employees, office users, management, vendors, and IT partners.
Dependable attendance, ownership, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

Learn Epicor/CMS through structured training, knowledge transfer, and hands-on experience.
Assume responsibility for daily ERP support, user/security administration, troubleshooting, reporting, system changes, and ERP projects.
Develop into the lead Epicor/CMS administrator.
Understand how manufacturing, production, accounting, purchasing, shipping, inventory, and other business processes are represented in the ERP system.
Utilize SQL queries or other data tools for reporting, research, troubleshooting, and data extraction.
Perform and grow into administrative work across Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365/Entra, DNS/DHCP, file/print services, and related systems.
Support and troubleshoot switches, VLANs, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, internet connectivity, and general TCP/IP networking.
Assist with virtualization, servers, storage, backups/recovery, PCs, printers, and plant technology.
Provide end-user support when needed.
Take ownership of IT tasks and projects, including research, approach development, resource coordination, implementation, testing, and documentation.
Assist with cybersecurity, audits, documentation, and compliance requirements.
