About The Position

Rimini Street, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Enterprise Architect with expertise in Oracle/SAP and Agentic AI to join their innovative practice. This role involves designing and presenting solutions for SAP, Oracle, and JD Edwards, with a focus on reimagining enterprise work through AI and automation. The ideal candidate will combine deep ERP process knowledge with practical AI and automation judgment, working alongside existing AI engineering teams. The position is embedded with enterprise clients, offering remote work with occasional onsite visits. The Sr. Enterprise Architect will report to the VP of Innovation and Solution Delivery and will be responsible for understanding client ERP business process problems and designing modern AI-enabled solutions that enhance existing ERP systems without replacing them. The role is platform-agnostic, focusing on fitting solutions to the client's environment. This involves working with various stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and executives, to map current processes, identify areas for improvement through automation and AI, and define future-state processes. The goal is to build an intelligent innovation layer over the client's ERP estate using a mix of automation, workflows, Agentic UX, AI agents, and various integration tools and platforms.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in ERP, enterprise systems, solution architecture, technical consulting, or enterprise transformation.
  • AI knowledge must sit on top of ERP process knowledge, architecture, consulting experience, and business transformation thinking.
  • Strong experience with at least one major ERP platform: SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, or JD Edwards.
  • Strong techno-functional understanding of ERP business processes, such as: Procure-to-pay, Order-to-cash, Record-to-report, Invoice processing, Vendor onboarding, Customer master, Material master, Inventory management, Demand planning, Supply chain planning, Manufacturing, Plant maintenance, Warehouse operations, Finance reconciliation, Approvals and exception handling.
  • Experience working in consulting, systems integration, ERP implementation, ERP support, ERP modernization, advisory, or enterprise transformation.
  • Proven track record working directly with enterprise clients in complex environments.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and IT stakeholders.
  • Experience running or supporting discovery workshops.
  • Experience mapping as-is and to-be business processes.
  • Experience translating business requirements into solution architecture and delivery scope.
  • Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, data flows, security, roles, authorizations, and enterprise release processes.
  • Practical exposure to AI, automation, workflow platforms, RPA, analytics, ServiceNow, SAP BTP, SAP Joule, or agentic AI.
  • Ability to work with AI engineers, integration architects, ERP architects, security teams, UX designers, and delivery teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication across business, technical, and executive audiences.

  • SAP BTP experience, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, SAP Fiori, CAP, ABAP extensions, APIs, events, workflow, and side-by-side extension patterns.

  • Experience with Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, Claude, or other enterprise AI platforms.
  • SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions with business users, IT teams, ERP owners, process owners, architects, and executive stakeholders.
  • Understand ERP business processes across finance, procurement, order management, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, maintenance, master data, customer service, reporting, and approvals.
  • Map current-state processes, including users, roles, handoffs, approvals, exceptions, reports, spreadsheets, emails, forms, manual work, and ERP touchpoints.
  • Identify where the process is broken, where users are working outside the system, where work is delayed, and where automation or AI can create measurable business value.
  • Define future-state processes using a practical mix of ERP integration, workflow automation, AI agents, Agentic UX, dashboards, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Translate business pain points into clear solution requirements, architecture, scope, use cases, success criteria, and delivery plans.
  • Design solutions that work with existing ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud ERP, JD Edwards, and other systems of record.
  • Help define how AI agents should safely read from, reason over, and act on ERP data and transactions.
  • Work with AI engineers, integration architects, UX designers, and delivery teams to build prototypes, MVPs, and production solutions.
  • Support ERP integration patterns using APIs, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, OData, REST services, middleware, JD Edwards Orchestrator, SAP BTP, Oracle integration tools, Rimini Connect, MCP-style tools, and secure integration layers.
  • Use SAP BTP, SAP Joule, Oracle integration tools, JD Edwards integration patterns, ServiceNow, Rimini Connect, hyperscaler AI platforms, or custom integration approaches where they fit the client environment.
  • Define approval gates, role-based access, audit trails, exception handling, rollback paths, segregation of duties, and governance controls for agentic workflows.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client business, IT, ERP, data, security, and executive stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical teams and senior business leaders.
  • Support workshops, demos, proposals, solution estimates, delivery plans, UAT, production rollout, and handover to support.
  • Stay engaged through cutover and early production, then support a structured handover to the ongoing support team with documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer.
  • Convert field learnings into reusable ERP plus AI solution patterns, accelerators, reference architectures, and delivery templates.
