About The Position

This role focuses on increasing the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) by developing strategic accounts within the Fortune 1000, specifically within the HiTech and Consumer Electronics sectors. The Sr. Account Executive will drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts, acting as a trusted advisor with both business and technical expertise. This position involves leading cross-functional teams, shaping strategies for partners, professional services, and training, and developing/executing territory strategies to meet quarterly revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 7+ years tech sales experience to enterprise customers

Responsibilities

  • Teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales.
  • Building relationships across an account using creative systems thinking, visioning, and collaboration with an extended team to address customer needs.
  • Selling at the most strategic (C-level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • Working collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests and advocating for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs.
  • Driving new service adoption and new line of business development.
  • Having dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.
