About The Position

The Sr. Engineering Technician works in a fast-paced technical engineering semiconductor environment, collaborating proactively and innovatively with technicians and engineers. The role involves planning and independently carrying out projects using established procedures, handling complex and multiple tasks, writing reports on results, and providing input to improve capabilities. The technician also works with equipment and materials suppliers and uses mechanical and thermomechanical tools and equipment. Experience with analytical testing and chemical analysis is a plus. Microsoft Office software is expected for executing job assignments.

Requirements

• Experience working in a fast-paced technical engineering semiconductor environment.
• Experience with mechanical and thermomechanical tools and equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to plan and work on projects independently using established procedures.
• Ability to handle complex and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate proactively with technicians and engineers and provide input to improve capabilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with analytical test tools such as acoustic imaging, dynamic mechanical analysis, thermal mechanical analysis, Nanoindenter, and four-point bend testing.
• Experience working with chemical analyses.
