Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About the Role: CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is a “sensor”, which is a lightweight agent installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers’ with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing quality foundations group, in a team & role focused on building frameworks, libraries and tooling used for testing our cloud services and sensors, essentially building out a testing infrastructure to be used throughout Crowdstrike going forward. Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience (programming styles, data structures, algorithms, etc.).
• At Least 7 years (Average Exp: 10-15 Yrs) as an SDET or Backend Developer (combined)
• Extensive software development experience in Python, C/C++, and/or other languages such as Go, Scala, Java, C#, or Node.js.
• 2-3+ years building testing frameworks and tooling for a Cloud SaaS product
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to spot design flaws, race conditions etc in complex architectures.
• Experience with Jenkins operations and debugging.
• Proficiency with: Networking (protocols, distributed systems, layered architectures) & Web Services (JSON, REST, XML, AWS EC2 & S3.)

• Authored and led successful open source libraries and projects.
• Contributions to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).
• Existing exposure to Go, AWS, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, GRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins

Responsibilities

• Verify component, system integration and application level features and functionality to ensure our reliability, accuracy and performance reaches our standards for quality.
• Review engineering technical design documents and requirements.
• Provide plan and strategy about how and where to build in testability

• Built the frameworks and packages required to implement automation.
