Requirements
- High school diploma / GED & 10 years of directly related experience OR Associate’s degree & 8 years of directly related experience OR Bachelor’s degree & 4 years of directly related experience OR Master's degree and 2 years directly related experience OR Doctorate degree
- Experience within a utilities' plant within industry, especially with water systems.
- Experience with GMP
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, methods and practices.
- Basic understanding of cGMPs as applied to biotechnology products.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for assigned clean utility systems.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and compliance to ensure consistent operation.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting, investigations, and operational issues.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications, and system documentation.
- Lead asset lifecycle management activities for utility systems.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain preventive maintenance strategies within Maximo.
- Maintain asset records, equipment hierarchies, job plans, and maintenance documentation.
- Analyze maintenance and reliability data to improve asset performance and reduce downtime.
- Lead utility-related capital projects from design through commissioning and turnover.
- Develop technical requirements, specifications, and engineering assessments.
- Support startup, commissioning, qualification, and operational readiness activities.
- Coordinate project activities with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and external contractors.
- Support change controls, deviations, investigations, and CAPA activities impacting utility systems.
- Ensure utility systems remain compliant with GMP requirements and site standards.
- Identify and implement improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and validation activities as the engineering representative.
