About The Position

The Sr Engineer AI Platform designs, implements, operates, and continuously improves enterprise platforms and integration capabilities for AI agents and generative AI solutions. The role helps teams move approved AI solutions from prototype into reliable production use across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Google, and other approved enterprise AI technologies. It provides technical leadership for secure, scalable, observable, cost-managed, governed, and supportable platform services across development, test, and production environments. The role establishes lifecycle standards for source control, release management, deployment pipelines, environment separation, production readiness, and operational support. It implements governance controls for inventories, ownership, risk tiering, identity and access, data and runtime protection, audit logging, and periodic recertification. Responsibilities also include managing model access, quotas, capacity, private networking, endpoints, onboarding, telemetry, and consumption controls; enabling secure enterprise integrations; embedding automated evaluation and compliance checks; documenting reusable patterns; leading technical initiatives; mentoring engineers; and assessing emerging capabilities. The role partners with AI engineering, Cybersecurity, Identity, Enterprise Architecture, Data, Legal, Finance, business teams, engineers, platform users, solution owners, business power users, and approved citizen developers. It provides standards, documentation, enablement materials, technical guidance, and mentorship to support safe, consistent adoption. Regular in-office attendance is required, and a flexible schedule may be needed to support business needs, platform changes, production incidents, or scheduled maintenance.
