About The Position

GTMR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our family. The work location for this position is China Lake CA. In this role you will set up, configure and test multi-rack communication systems, troubleshoot and isolate system faults, write and test Linux-based software, write and test microcontroller-based software, provide on-site customer support.

Requirements

• Active Current Secret US Security Clearance and be eligible for Top Secret clearance.
• Experience analyzing existing Electronic and/or RF Systems, designs and developing comprehensive system test criteria.
• Experience in presenting status and technical alternatives as required for new or existing Electronic and/or RF systems.
• Experience with Electronic and/or RF (Radio Frequency) measurements, testing procedures and test equipment.
• Identifies and resolves test anomalies.
• Demonstrate ability to think independently and adapt to changing requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor degree in related discipline and typically 4 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in RF Engineering specific to RF Communications and SIGINT sensors.

Nice To Haves

• Experience writing, reviewing and updating test procedures.
• Experience working in a T&E lab environment

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities.
• Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, modification, setup, checkout and teardown.
• Conducts tests, analyzes data and documents results; participates in test readiness reviews.
• Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory, system and test-related problems.
• Coordinates test laboratory activities and on-site test events, maintenance and repairs.
