About The Position

The Sr Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems and equipment across company facilities. Ensures safe, efficient, and code-compliant operations while serving as a technical resource for complex electrical issues. May mentor junior electricians and support initiatives to improve system reliability and operational performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or a related field
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and control circuits.
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues.
  • Experience supporting corporate facilities
  • Comfortable working cross functionally
  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • Diagnose complex electrical issues using testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and corporate safety standards.
  • Support facility upgrades, capital projects, equipment installations, and electrical modifications.
  • Lead or assist with electrical commissioning activities and startup of new equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, operations, contractors, and vendors to complete projects and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, equipment performance, and system reliability.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls and power-related incidents as needed.
