Job Summary: Applies Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs using specialized expertise and judgment. Coordinates with cross-functional teams including work groups, clients, and core markets to address and solve moderately complex EHS challenges on projects. Guides team members in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to support organizational objectives. Shapes a culture of accountability and proactive engagement in EHS stewardship among employees and trade partners. Strengthens compliance and operational excellence through continuous improvement and adherence to regulatory and industry standards.

Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or a related field required.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction training required.
  • OSHA Course 500 training required.

Nice To Haves

  • First Aid (FA) certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification, or Naloxone Administration (Narcan) certification preferred.
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and executes advanced site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, recommending and tracking corrective actions.
  • Develops or edits job site EHS orientations for employees and contractors with specialized or broad safety knowledge.
  • Analyzes incident trends and data to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Guides the safe management of specific project strategies.
  • Coordinates cross-functional EHS initiatives to improve safety and environmental performance.
  • Communicates moderately complex regulatory and procedural EHS requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Supports less experienced team members in resolving EHS challenges using the regulatory standards.
