About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Sr. Document Controls Specialist to join their team. This role is a key member of a major infrastructure undertaking at LAX, supporting the tracking of developer submittals and Request for Information (RFI) management, and providing administrative support to the office and project manager.

Requirements

10+ years of relevant work experience.
BA or BS degree (or equivalent work experience).
Demonstrated administrative abilities to support construction/engineering teams of significant size.
Great communication skills - both written and oral, and responsiveness to requests.
Attention to detail and cooperative, professional attitude.
Willingness to assume additional responsibilities.
Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint skills are musts.
Ability to work remotely Monday and Fridays and work in the LAX area office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Nice To Haves

Prolog experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist the team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of submittals.
Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into Prolog, and prepare management information status reports, as required.
Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in Prolog, the project information system.
Maintain project files and document / submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies).
Distribute documents, submittals and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments, obtain management approval and issue responses to APM Developer.
Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.
Complete other responsibilities and assists with clerical support for Project Manager, conference room scheduling, expense reports, and ordering office supplies.
Administer and track team's badging with client agency and office/parking card access.
