About The Position

This is an opportunity to architect and scale a next generation talent engine—powered by AI, automation, and data at a company entering a critical phase of growth. You will build the systems, intelligence, and infrastructure that power every hiring decision, enabling faster, smarter, and more predictive talent outcomes at global scale. As Head of Talent Operations, you will lead the transformation of our global talent infrastructure. You will build a modern, AI-enabled recruiting ecosystem that empowers our teams, elevates candidate experience, and drives business impact. You will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, People, Finance, and senior leadership team to ensure our hiring strategy is powered by best in class systems, data, and insights. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and talent strategy, and will play a critical role in how Gong scales.

Requirements

  • A systems thinker who sees recruiting as an interconnected ecosystem, not a set of processes
  • A builder who has architected and scaled talent infrastructure in high growth, complex environments
  • Deeply fluent in recruiting technologies, data, and analytics
  • Passionate about the role AI and automation will play in the future of hiring
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels
  • A strong cross functional partner who can influence senior leaders and drive alignment
  • 15+ years of experience across Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, or People Operations
  • 7+ years leading Talent Operations or Recruiting Operations teams
  • Proven experience scaling talent infrastructure in high growth technology companies
  • Experience supporting organizations through hypergrowth, late-stage scale, or IPO readiness

Responsibilities

  • Architect and evolve a best in class recruiting technology ecosystem (ATS, CRM, sourcing platforms, scheduling tools, talent intelligence systems, and AI-enabled solutions)
  • Define how AI is embedded across the hiring lifecycle; from sourcing to screening to decision making
  • Drive automation across workflows to increase speed, consistency, and scale
  • Own the integrity, structure, and accessibility of recruiting data across systems
  • Partner with IT and Security to ensure strong governance, compliance, and scalability
  • Build and lead a modern talent intelligence function that informs executive decision making
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to drive global workforce planning and hiring forecasts
  • Develop predictive insights around hiring velocity, pipeline health, and talent market dynamics
  • Shape how Gong invests in talent by providing data driven recommendations on location strategy, diversity, and talent supply
  • Design and operationalize scalable, global recruiting processes that enable high quality hiring at speed
  • Establish clear operating rhythms, SLAs, and performance metrics across the hiring lifecycle
  • Build frameworks that elevate interview quality, decision making, and candidate experience
  • Equip recruiters and hiring managers with systems and tools that dramatically improve productivity and consistency
  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing Talent Operations function
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition leadership to unlock hiring success at scale
  • Create playbooks and systems that support global hiring through the next stages of company growth
