About The Position

Talent Management The Senior Director, Talent Management will lead enterprise strategies in the areas of talent management, leadership development, and/or organizational design and effectiveness. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating initiatives that strengthen TIAA's leadership pipeline, optimize organizational structures, and enhance overall workforce effectiveness. Partnering with People Team and line of business leaders and associates, this role will align initiatives with business objectives to support TIAA's mission and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement enterprise strategies that support leadership development, succession planning, and workforce effectiveness in alignment with business goals.
  • Design and implement leadership development strategies and programming that energize TIAA’s leaders, ensure a strong leadership pipeline, and build a highly skilled workforce.
  • Enable organizational design and effectiveness initiatives to ensure the business operates effectively and efficiently as it pursues critical business objectives.
  • Facilitate the success of enterprise talent management approaches such as succession planning, performance management, executive assessment, and human capital planning.
  • Lead programs such as executive coaching and career development to enhance leadership effectiveness at all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with senior People Team and line of business leaders to drive strategic initiatives that enhance associates’ performance, career mobility, and retention.
  • Champion TIAA’s values, embedding them into talent management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development strategies.
  • Facilitate change management, ensuring leader and associate adoption.
  • Leverage data analytics and workforce insights to track progress, measure the success of initiatives, and inform continuous improvement.
  • Actively seek out trends, best practices, and emerging technology to continuously innovate TIAA’s talent management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development strategies.
