About The Position

We’re currently seeking a Sr. Director, Supply Chain & Strategic Sourcing to join our Headquarters team! The Head of Supply Chain & Strategic Sourcing will build, lead, and scale a high-performing procurement and supply chain function that improves cost, service, supplier performance, inventory availability, and operating execution across the company. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will take ownership of the central procurement function, including indirect spend and selected areas of direct spend. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder with the initiative, urgency, and business judgment to assess opportunities, create practical processes, and execute sourcing and purchasing initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of strategic sourcing and supply chain experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Proven experience building, scaling, or upgrading a procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain function in a high-growth, multi-location company.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing performance, coaching, and supporting employee development.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier performance, contract management, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization.
  • Track record of setting savings targets and delivering year-over-year results through disciplined execution.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience leading complex supplier and contractual negotiations.
  • Ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and move decisions to action across executive, functional, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and action-oriented leader who creates momentum, takes ownership, and motivates others to execute.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, retain, and engage top procurement and supply chain talent.
  • Experience creating or supporting a strong internal control environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Function (Foundation & Strategy): Assess current procurement and supply chain capabilities and identify highest-impact opportunities. Develop and execute a practical roadmap to build a centralized procurement function. Design and implement policies, processes, tools, and governance. Expand spend under central procurement management and increase system adoption (Oracle iProcurement).
  • Drive Financial & Enterprise Impact: Build and execute a multi-year sourcing strategy aligned to cost, growth, and operating goals. Deliver sustainable cost savings and total cost of ownership improvements. Partner cross-functionally to challenge current practices and unlock value.
  • Optimize Operations & Field Execution: Improve procure-to-pay, inventory management, and logistics processes. Remove friction in ordering, receiving, and payment workflows. Increase visibility, speed, and consistency for field teams.
  • Lead Supplier Strategy & External Partnerships: Rationalize supplier base and strengthen strategic supplier relationships. Lead enterprise negotiations and contract execution. Leverage PE sourcing council and GPOs to drive incremental value.
  • Build Team & Performance Discipline: Lead and develop the procurement and inventory planning team. Establish clear goals, metrics, and accountability. Implement KPI dashboards (savings, supplier performance, compliance, inventory, risk).
