About The Position

As Sr Director Strategy, you will define the commercial and market strategy for highly strategic growth initiatives within Financial Solutions. You will work across product, sales, partnerships, finance, technology, and corporate strategy to shape product-market positioning, go-to-market strategy, pricing, launch planning, and ecosystem strategy. This role has regular executive engagement and directly influences revenue growth, commercialization, and market differentiation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, go-to-market strategy, product commercialization, corporate development, or related commercial strategy roles for technology, platform, fintech, or financial services offerings.
  • 10+ years of experience developing product-market positioning, commercialization strategies, pricing approaches, and launch plans for complex business initiatives.
  • 8+ years of experience conducting market analysis, competitive assessments, and financial modeling to support strategic recommendations and business case development.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare executive-level strategy materials, communicate recommendations with clear trade-offs, and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Define target segments, ideal customer profiles, priority verticals, and differentiated value propositions for strategic initiatives.
  • Lead market sizing, competitive analysis, and strategic positioning assessments to inform commercialization decisions.
  • Develop integrated go-to-market strategies across sales, marketing, and account management, including launch sequencing, market entry approach, and phased rollout plans.
  • Establish pricing strategy, packaging structure, and monetization models, including subscription, usage-based, and platform-based approaches where applicable.
  • Partner with finance to build revenue projections, business case models, and recommendations with clear financial implications and trade-offs.
  • Coordinate with program management office (PMO), product, and technology teams to align commercial readiness, launch milestones, success metrics, and market communication plans.
  • Identify and evaluate strategic ecosystem partners, support business development discussions, and assess build, buy, or partner approaches to support scale.
