About The Position

The Sr. Director, Solutions Engineering - Commercial Strategy leads the end-to-end development of customer solutions and commercial models for new business opportunities. This role ensures solutions are operationally executable, cost-accurate, and commercially competitive. The position oversees Solutions Engineering, Solutions & Commercial Enablement, and Pricing, creating a unified approach to solution design, cost validation, and pricing execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Leadership experience across multi-functional teams
  • 12–15+ years in 3PL logistics, solutions or operations
  • Deep expertise in warehouse operations and solution design
  • Strong commercial acumen in pricing and cost modeling
  • Program/project management expertise
  • Executive presence and stakeholder influence

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end solution development from qualification through proposal submission
  • Lead and develop Solutions Engineering, Enablement, and Pricing teams
  • Establish bid qualification and governance frameworks
  • Oversee cost validation and pricing alignment
  • Partner cross-functionally across Sales, Ops, IT, HR, Procurement
  • Engage with strategic customers and support major deals
  • Drive KPIs: win rate, margin performance, cost accuracy
