Sr. Director, Rental Operations

Requirements
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
- Generally, 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity.
Nice To Haves
- Multi-site leadership experience in rental, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
- Experience managing large, multi-layered teams across geographically dispersed locations.
- Proven success in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with P&L ownership and financial management.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Advanced leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with KPI development and performance management systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction across all rental operations, including multi-site and regional teams.
- Lead, develop, and manage a multi-layered leadership team (operations, rental, customer service, continuous improvement).
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Drive operational excellence (safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer service performance).
- Own financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and capital planning.
- Establish and execute enterprise strategies (inventory optimization, fleet utilization, capacity planning).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including standardization and process optimization.
- Partner cross-functionally and implement KPI/performance management systems to drive accountability.
