About The Position

Daikin Applied is seeking a Senior Director, Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management who is responsible for advancing Daikin Applied's enterprise transformation and organizational effectiveness agenda in support of profitable growth. Reporting directly to SVP, Human Resources and serving as a member of the HR Leadership Team, this role partners with executive leaders to design and implement organizational structures, operating models, and enterprise change strategies that improve business performance, increase organizational effectiveness, and enable sustainable growth. This leader serves as a trusted enterprise advisor on major business transformation initiatives, organizational redesign efforts, operating model evolution, shared services, and post-acquisition integration. While the role is primarily focused on enterprise change management, it also serves as the organization's primary point of expertise for organizational design and effectiveness. The role requires a balance of strategic thought leadership and hands-on execution, including facilitating executive discussions, leading complex projects, building practical solutions, coaching leaders, and driving implementation through measurable adoption and business results. This role will partner with executive leadership to develop change strategies that accelerate business results while leading the execution of critical change initiatives. This role requires a unique balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution—the ability to influence executives, build enterprise capability, and also roll up their sleeves to solve problems, develop practical solutions, create deliverables, coach leaders, and drive implementation. Success in this role requires an enterprise-minded leader who can connect organization and change strategies to growth, profitability, productivity, and business performance. The ideal candidate has led multiple complex, cross-functional transformations and organizational design efforts, earns credibility with senior executives, and can move seamlessly between strategic advisory work and hands-on delivery. Success will be measured by the organization's ability to execute transformation, accelerate adoption of strategic initiatives, improve operating model effectiveness, strengthen organizational capability, and build scalable change and organizational design practices across the enterprise. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational effectiveness, change management, organizational design, enterprise transformation, consulting, or HR, including 6+ years of people leadership experience
• Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation and change initiatives in complex organizations
• Deep expertise in organizational design, operating model transformation, workforce transformation, and organizational effectiveness
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to connect organizational strategy to growth, profitability, and operational performance
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, facilitate high-stakes discussions, and drive results without direct authority
• Experience building enterprise capabilities, frameworks, governance, and best practices for change management and organizational design
• Working knowledge of established change management methodologies such as Prosci and a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes
• Ability to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

• 12-15 years of experience establishing or maturing an enterprise change management, organizational effectiveness, or internal consulting capability
• Experience within complex manufacturing, industrial, engineering, global operations, or high-growth environments
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, organizational integration, shared services, restructuring, or operating model transformations
• Experience working in both profitability-improvement and high-growth business contexts
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, Agile, SAFe, or Lean and the integration of change management with enterprise program management

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise change management and organizational effectiveness strategies that drive business transformation, growth, and productivity
• Partner with executive leaders to design and implement organizational structures, operating models, and workforce transformation initiatives
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs from strategy through execution, adoption, and sustained results
• Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, coaching, and readiness planning
• Assess organizational effectiveness and recommend solutions that improve performance, scalability, governance, and workforce productivity
• Establish enterprise frameworks, tools, and best practices for change management, organizational design, and effectiveness
• Build organizational capability by coaching leaders, managers, and HR partners while leading high-impact enterprise initiatives
• Define and monitor success metrics to measure adoption, organizational performance, and business outcomes
