Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and own the 3–5 year ICP-MS product roadmap — prioritisation, sequencing, and investment trade-off decisions across the full portfolio of instruments, consumables, and software Develop rigorous NPI business cases, including market sizing, competitive positioning, financial modelling, and customer value quantification Own gate progression for all ICP-MS NPIs from concept through commercial launch approval Translate Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) from Strategic Segment Managers into specific product requirements and R&D briefs Drive long-term technology roadmap in close collaboration with R&D leadership — ensuring the ICP-MS portfolio maintains competitive and technical leadership Voice of Customer & Market Intelligence Build and maintain a structured VOC programme for ICP-MS Work in partnership with Strategic Segment Managers to ensure segment-level market requirements are understood and prioritised across all key ICP-MS end markets: environmental, pharma/biopharma, food safety, semiconductor, petrochem Monitor competitive landscape continuously — new instrument introductions, pricing moves, partnership activity — and translate intelligence into positioning and roadmap responses Pricing & Financial Performance Own global base pricing strategy for the ICP-MS product line — setting, communicating, and periodically reviewing instrument and consumable pricing Manage ICP-MS product line P&L in partnership with the VP Product Line — tracking revenue, gross margin, and portfolio profitability against AOP targets Support AOP planning with NPI revenue projections, volume forecasts, and portfolio investment requirements Product Lifecycle Management Oversee the full ICP-MS product lifecycle from introduction through end-of-life — including sustaining investment decisions, feature additions, and EOL planning and communication Ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and performance standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle, in partnership with R&D and Operations Make clear invest/sustain/sunset decisions for each product in the ICP-MS portfolio based on market position and financial performance Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, Technical product managers and Product Operations Manager within the ICP-MS product line Set clear role expectations, performance objectives, and development plans for each direct report Build a high-performance team culture — focused on strategy, customer insight, and commercial rigour Coach Product Managers to develop strong business case skills, customer interviewing capability, and competitive analytical thinking Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with the VP Product Line, Atomic Spectrometry on portfolio investment prioritisation, AOP planning, and executive gate reviews Work closely with Technical Product Managers to translate commercial requirements into technically feasible product specifications Collaborate with the Product Launch & Commercialisation Manager to ensure smooth NPI handoff at gate approval — providing complete product brief, pricing inputs, and target customer profiles Engage with Strategic Segment Managers on a quarterly cadence to review MRD inputs and align roadmap priorities to evolving market requirements Are you ready to help improve the lives of millions of people and create a healthier world? Requirements

  • 3–5 year ICP-MS product roadmap
  • Rigorous NPI business cases, including market sizing, competitive positioning, financial modelling, and customer value quantification
