Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration—or equivalent experience
  • 15+ Years of Experience
  • Proven track record of leadership, execution, and strategic thinking.
  • Management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and fundamental accounting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in advanced data tools; SQL and PowerBI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superb financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting skills; experience with post-acquisition integration and professional services business models a plus.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We will not sponsor applicants for current or future work visas for this position.
  • This position may require significant travel to support project and business needs.

  • Significant experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools (e.g., Certinia, Kantata, or similar) and ERP integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or finance-specific AI platforms) to automate or enhance finance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the day-to-day finance function, serving as the primary finance leader and will operate with a high degree of independence and accountability.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing finance team; build team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Forecasting, P&L oversight, weekly and monthly reporting, and analysis to identify trends, manage budget, and monitor revenue.
  • Identify/quantify risks and opportunities to ensure that the team and management are informed of the financial status and impact.
  • Develop, consolidate, and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis including annual budget, quarterly/monthly forecast variances.
  • Partner with the VP, Finance to ensure alignment on strategic priorities; independently execute on finance operations and escalate key decisions as appropriate.
  • Evaluate trends within the business and offer business decision support.
  • Report financial results and key metrics against appropriate business projections and deviations from plan.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Develop and provide monthly reports of key performance metrics for the consolidated results and a summary of the reports provided by the business divisions.
  • Develop and maintain long-term forecast models.
  • Provide support and analysis for financial requests from the investors, leadership team, and/or departmental business leaders.
  • Lead process improvement efforts on the recently implemented Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool and ERP integration; identify gaps, drive remediation, and build standardized workflows to optimize system performance.
  • Design and implement a new end-to-end revenue reconciliation process; ensure accuracy across project billing, recognition, and reporting within the PSA and ERP environment.
  • Redesign and improve the invoicing process to reduce cycle times, minimize errors, and ensure timely client billing; establish controls and reporting to track invoicing performance.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process.
  • Support resource management analysis ensuring staffing is being managed tightly to revenue.
  • Identify, pilot, and embed AI tools and automation within the finance function to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance decision-making across FP&A, invoicing, and reporting workflows.

Benefits

  • The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $(200,000) to $(240,000). The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
