About The Position

The Senior Director, Compliance & Ethics leads Ascendiun’s enterprise-wide compliance and ethics program across its affiliates, business units, products, services, and activities. The role oversees preventive, detective, and remedial controls; policies and procedures; workforce training and communications; testing, auditing, monitoring, and reporting; and remediation of control deficiencies. Program areas include the Code of Conduct, compliance policies and investigations, anti-bribery, anti-kickback and anti-corruption, exclusion lists, conflicts of interest, and other compliance and ethics initiatives. Reporting directly to Ascendiun’s Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, the role primarily leads the enterprise-wide program and may take on additional responsibilities or support the Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer’s other initiatives as needed. The position builds and leads Compliance & Ethics teams, coordinates with functions across the Ascendiun Family of Companies, and provides guidance on regulatory and industry standards. It researches regulatory developments and communicates their impact to the organization and the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. The position follows a hybrid workplace model. For most teams, this means working in the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need. The work is primarily sedentary office and desk work, with activity occurring most of the workday.
