The Senior Direct Support Professional is responsible for light housework including cooking, meal prep, and cleaning. They will also maintain personal care/hygiene routines such as feeding, medication administration, bathing, showering, and toileting. This role involves providing transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, outside activities, and excursions. Additionally, the position requires providing behavioral and social support, which may include working with potential physical and verbal outbursts or aggressiveness. The Senior Direct Support Professional may also be responsible for providing occasional sleepover shifts and/or supervising a residential home in the absence of a Residential Supervisor. They will also assist the Residential Supervisor with any other assigned duties.
