About The Position

The Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist will support the strategy, execution and analysis of all digital properties, with a focus on our franchise locations, All Battery Center locations. This role will support the digital needs for select internal business units and for franchise locations to drive organic growth, paid media and business goals. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing the brand’s franchise locations on InterstateBatteries.com and their local store listings (Google Business Profile, Yelp, etc.). The role will partner closely with the other ABC-focused Team Members to drive the business goals for our Franchisees. This role will also ensure alignment between business units and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content authoring, and SEO strategy with a focus on hyper-local and product organic growth
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data, financials, consumer, and marketplace insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Both self-motivated and ability to partner and collaborate across teams, functions, business units, and agencies
  • Experience managing and executing multiple projects with excellence under time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills and comfort dealing with ambiguity.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Solid knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Agile team experience preferred.
  • Experience with Sitecore CMS a plus.
  • PowerBI a plus.
  • Experience with Franchise systems a plus.
  • Passion for digital marketing, including UI/UX, SEO, and emerging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital, hyper-local organic growth strategy for our roughly 170 All Battery Center stores
  • Manage ABC product and location listings on InterstateBatteries.com and third-party listing platforms (Google, Apple, Yelp, etc.)
  • Own franchisee communication and relationship management by proactively sharing digital strategy and updates (calls, emails, webinars, newsletters, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of paid media planning and execution to support answering franchisees questions, making informed decisions for the website and providing thoughtful reporting insights
  • Serve as a key point of coordination between the All Battery Marketing team and cross-functional partners by providing status updates, timelines and roadmap visibility
  • Support the All Battery Center retail email program, PowerPerks, by contributing to email strategy and coordinate monthly coupon execution and annual survey communications
  • Lead reputation management execution for All Battery Centers in partnership with agency partner and franchisees
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Proactively collaborate cross-functionally and manage relationships with digital agencies and vendors
