About The Position

We utilize a range of innovative tools and methodologies, including the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Atlassian Tool Suite, and DevSecOps, to ensure consistent value delivery, effective collaboration, and security-centric development. Requirements

  • Previous DevOps experience or software focus in automation.
  • Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software.
  • Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS), Windows Server and Workstation.
  • Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
  • Understanding of System Scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell, batch, etc.)
  • Understanding of writing and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo).
  • Experience providing technical support, training, and guidance to program personnel on DevSecOps tools and software development lifecycle (tools such as GitLab, Nexus and CI tools)
  • Experience with Docker and/or Containerization.
  • Knowledge in controlling third party software (COTS, GOTS, and FOSS) to ensure efficient storage and re-usability across the program.
  • You love to automate repetitive processes and improve efficiency everywhere you are.
  • You are a self-starter that is diligent to details and works well in a multi- focused teaming environment.
  • You will frequently use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve a wide range of difficult technical problems.
  • You thrive paying attention to detail and efficiently running builds, and deployments, and analyzing configuration resolutions for multiple integrated applications during software release cycles for development, test, and production environments.
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile Process Tools (VersionOne, Atlassian Tools JIRA, etc.)
  • Experience developing maintainable Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, chef/puppet)
  • Ability to support multiple release project schedules simultaneously
  • Understanding of Test automation and how to implement in a pipeline approach
  • Experience with static analysis tools and integrating into a pipeline (Fortify, Coverity).
  • Understanding of containerization – experience with Kubernetes and/or helm charts
  • Infrastructure implementation of virtualized hosts in VMWare.
  • Atlassian System Administrator skills highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Support DevSecOps development of solutions in support of multiple software product team's needs with CI/CD pipelines tools and integrations.
  • Engaging in the fundamentals of design, implementation, and execution of common DevSecOps methodology.
  • Ability to install, integrate, test, fix, resolve issues, and maintain the software suite across a heterogenous environment.
  • Be an important team member and work closely in agile teams utilizing the Scaled Agile Mastery to tackle a variety of technical problems.
  • Contribute to the modernization of legacy applications and tools.
  • Support multiple project objectives utilizing validated technical skills, implementing industry standard methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
  • Administer Atlassian systems to support Agile processes.
