They have demonstrated omni-channel marketing design experience in retail/ecommerce, with expertise in photo art direction and campaign concepting. They have the capability, capacity, and drive to hit the ground running. We’re a Creative Department looking for the right Designer to join our in-house team of ego-free misfits. Our creatives are enthusiastic and high-functioning, thriving in a highly collaborative, many times quick-turn environment. Positive vibes only. Well, at least 93% of the time (we’re only human). The Senior Designer works within our Creative Department to create Campaigns and Lead photo art direction in a high-volume, quick-turnaround environment. They must be able to take direction, effectively collaborate with teammates across disciplines to clarify requirements, goals, expectations, and timelines. Organization and multi-tasking abilities as well as excellence in communication are essential for this position. This role reports into the Manager, Associate Creative Director and needs to be local to our photo studio in Eden Prairie.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ design experience, with an affinity for Photo Art Direction
  • Portfolio to example your skills and aesthetic. Portfolio must show examples of print and Photo Art Direction.
  • Excellent type and layout skills paired with a strong design aesthetic.
  • Must have expertise in Adobe CC.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Design, Advertising or Fine Arts highly preferred, but will accept equivalent experience or related studies in lieu of formal education.
  • Agency experience a plus.
  • Print experience is desired.
  • Figma understanding is desired, must have willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Create and concept campaigns throughout different seasons.
  • Lead photo art direction across campaigns as well as new products.
  • Juggle a mix of quick-turnaround projects, often with overlapping priorities and urgency.
  • Show professionalism in all aspects of your daily tasks.
  • Be self-motivated, flexible, and able to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Continually adopt new tools and practices as the work evolves.
  • Manage work tasks, functions using department’s project management tool.
