About The Position

This role is for a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator with over 10 years of experience supporting large-scale or enterprise-level database services. The position requires extensive experience in database design, modeling, and interpreting customer requirements for database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation, and tuning. Significant experience with RAC, RMAN backup & recovery, Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard, DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration is essential. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience, and must be an independent worker with strong communication skills. A TS/SCI with FSP clearance is required.

Requirements

10+ years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database (10 – current).
Extensive experience with database design and modeling.
Extensive experience with the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.
Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year’s experience.
Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
TS/SCI w/ FSP required.

Responsibilities

Administering and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database (10 – current).
Database design and modeling.
Collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
Production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.
Working with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
Providing technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements.
Leading enterprise-wide solution engagements for high-quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Developing integrated and robust solutions based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third-party components.
Providing subject matter expertise to assist customers through difficult business decisions.
Designing, configuring, and implementing all aspects of the full stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen.
Recommending enhancements to meet complex customer needs.
