About The Position
Watermark, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business founded in 2007, is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist. The Sr. Data Scientist will support the Mission Assurance enterprise by enabling, sustaining, and scaling data products through analytical workflow support. This includes leading the application of advanced analytical techniques like AI and machine learning to derive insights from Mission Assurance data, utilizing enterprise data platforms for analytics, automation, and decision-making, and configuring government-directed data platforms. The role involves developing dashboards, monitoring views, and analytical models to aid senior leader decision-making.
Requirements
- Over 10 years in any career field, discipline, or industry
- Palantir Foundry Application Developer Certification (required)
- Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and TS/SCI with Caveats
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to work 100% on-site within a Government SCIF during core duty hours
Nice To Haves
- Deep hands-on experience developing applications in Palantir Foundry preferred
- Background in data science, machine learning, or computational modeling preferred
- Experience translating complex analytical outputs into decision-support products for senior DoD leaders preferred
Responsibilities
- Support analytical workflow enablement, sustainment, and scaling of data products across the Mission Assurance enterprise
- Lead application of advanced analytical techniques, including artificial intelligence and machine learning methods, to extract insights from Mission Assurance data
- Utilize enterprise data platform capabilities to support analytics, automation, and decision-making
- Support configuration and use of Government-directed data platform capabilities to enable data analysis, monitoring, reporting, and automation
- Develop dashboards, monitoring views, and analytical models supporting senior leader decision-making
- Additional duties as assigned
