About The Position

Work cross-functionally with digital innovation, technology, and operations innovation teams to identify opportunities for innovative technology solutions that improve the delivery experience and shape and guide strategic business initiatives. Solve difficult, non-routine problems and develop Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence components of next-generation smart applications.

Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business verticals to understand data needs and build high-trust partnerships through transparency and incremental delivery of value. Own data science and analytical solutions end-to-end: identify business problems, craft Machine Learning-based solutions, socialize proposed architecture with partners, implement solutions, track results, and present to stakeholders.

Research and implement advanced Machine Learning techniques, including computer vision, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning, to solve complex business problems. Mentor and consult on best practices in code review, data processing, modeling, and AI and ML development. Prioritize competing tasks in a dynamic business environment, develop a strong understanding of the business and its challenges, and identify actionable business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related computational field, and 5 years of progressive experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, or Software Development; alternatively, a Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field and 2 years of relevant experience. Pre- or post-Master’s experience is accepted; all experience must be post-Bachelor’s.
• Demonstrated experience using multiple data sources.
• Experience solving business problems with data science, with emphasis on business outcomes.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Python, including developing and maintaining in-house libraries.
• Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning techniques, including classification, predictive methods, and artificial neural networks, and their real-world application.
• Experience applying statistical techniques and concepts, including regression, probability, properties of distributions, and statistical tests, in a business setting.
• Experience training models using deep learning frameworks.
• Experience building production-grade APIs using established CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing and deploying microservice architecture and integrating solutions into broad cross-functional software systems.
• Experience with testing frameworks for productionalizing software, including unit, integration, regression, and load testing.
• Experience analyzing business problems and presenting key findings to senior leaders and collaborators.
