About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Sr Data Management Supervisor – Account set-up to join their team. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating the efforts of a team of account or data associates providing account or data management solutions on nonclinical studies in safety assessment. The position leads the internal audit program execution, drives process improvements, collaborates with management to implement audit strategies, mentors junior auditors, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and regulatory integrity across clinical laboratory testing and operational environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to oversee complex audit functions in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction. This role requires initiative-taking, timely and responsive engagement with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards while continuously improving auditing processes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., biological sciences, technical writing, business management)
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication verbally and written with an emphasis on strategic communication with clients.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years’ work experience, preferably in a CRO setting, in safety assessment
  • 2 years of supervisory experience and people management.
  • 4 years’ experience with Life Science, Biology Science
  • 4 years’ experience with Data Management system: Pristima and Watson or similar system
  • Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the efforts of a team of account or data associates providing account or data management solutions on nonclinical studies in safety assessment.
  • Leads the internal audit program execution, drives process improvements, collaborates with management to implement audit strategies, mentors’ junior auditors, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and regulatory integrity across clinical laboratory testing and operational environments.
  • Collaborate with operational and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective data management solutions and support business objectives.
  • Oversee project setup and delivery in data management systems such as Pristima (Xybion/Instem), an end-to-end preclinical laboratory and study management platform) and Watson (Thermo Fischer), a specialized bioanalytical laboratory information management system, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Lead and develop a global team, including performance management, talent development, succession planning, and recruitment.
  • Manage workload, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer timelines, budget objectives, and operational priorities.
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and technology adoption to enhance efficiency, consistency, and productivity.
  • Establish and monitor data quality, governance, performance metrics, policies, and procedures across the function.
