About The Position
The Senior Data Engineer designs and implements complex data solutions across systems, driving architecture and governance improvements. The role leads major development efforts, mentors junior engineers, and ensures the availability and scalability of data infrastructure for analytics and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering; healthcare or regulated-industry experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with healthcare data systems, compliance, and reporting.
- Experience in data modeling, SQL Server, and cloud technologies.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Advanced data-platform certification, such as Google Cloud, Azure Solutions Architect, or AWS Big Data Specialty.
- Experience with machine learning pipelines or real-time streaming data.
- Experience influencing architectural decisions across teams.
- Experience with EZCAP or other claim payment systems.
- Experience with Epic or other EMR systems.
- Proficiency in Tableau.
- Experience working at an MSO organization, health plan, and/or clinical care-providing organization.
