About The Position

As Senior Data & Business Systems Specialist, you will support the organization’s data, reporting, integration, business application, and emerging AI solution needs. You will own the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business systems, data solutions, and operational processes that enable informed decision-making and improve business performance. The role also offers opportunities to expand technical capabilities and develop a deep understanding of business operations and processes.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify process improvements. In collaboration with business users, external vendors, and technology partners, you will gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, support system enhancements, and contribute to projects throughout the solution lifecycle. You will work closely with peers and leadership to address business challenges and support technology solutions that drive organizational success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong SQL development and database skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with EDI processes and technologies.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
• Experience working with external vendors and technology partners.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business process and technology challenges.
• Support, maintain, and enhance core business applications.
• Develop and support data integration solutions, SQL-based applications, and EDI processes.
• Support business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives across the organization.
• Partner with vendors, consultants, and technology providers to support business objectives.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training.
• Research emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and application releases.
