About The Position

The Sr. Data Associate oversees the day-to-day data production process, ensures issues are resolved, and maintains production schedules. The role maintains financial statement data and calculations in an in-house network database and performs analysis, data checks, quality assurance, and documentation tasks.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
• More than 2 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and shift quickly among assignments.
• Ability to work quickly in a high-paced, repetitive environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain annual and quarterly GAAP and Statutory financial statement data and calculations within an in-house network database.
• Provide statistical analysis, data crosschecks, and related production tasks.
• Oversee data input from source documents and correct database entries when they are inconsistent with the source.
• Perform intermediate to advanced problem solving.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
• Analyze insurance company organizational charts and assist others in determining inter-company relationships.
• Process inter-company holdings to consolidate group data.
• Assist with quality assurance and related production tasks.
• Develop, maintain, and verify documentation of internal processes and guides.
